Republicans for Obama? Republican voters must review the facts and make a choice:
Health care: President Barack Obama did not include single-payer universal care in his plan. This keeps the insurance companies intact and gives them additional revenue with 30 million more policy holders. This keeps the big pool of Republican Party donors! Republicans can keep blaming “Obamacare” and collecting big bucks from insurers!
Military industrial complex: Obama escalated the war in Afghanistan by sending more troops. That is exactly the policy advocated by Sen. John McCain and other hawks. What more can Republicans want? As far as Iraq, Obama withdrew the military but kept 20,000 contract personnel, which is equivalent to keeping 50,000 military personnel in costs.
Economy: Obama has not done anything that the Republicans oppose. All the Wall Street fat cats responsible for the financial meltdown are still thriving and pouring money into Republican campaigns. The Bush tax cuts remain. Everyone knows Republicans did not create any job in the past six years, but we keep insisting they do. In addition, Obama has cut payroll taxes.
Gun control: In spite of gun violence — a member of Congress was shot in Arizona — Obama kept his mouth shut and no one talked about even reasonable gun restrictions.
In summary, Obama has acted in the best interest of the Republican Party and deserves to be recognized as the greatest Republican president ever. Therefore, go out and campaign and in November vote with confidence that things will remain pro-Wall Street, pro-guns, and above all pro-1 percent.
