G.O.P. candidates are now threatening to bomb Iran because they still have the nuclear technology that was provided by POTUS Eisenhower.

At least four countries hate the U.S. in the same way that Hebrews hate Hitler.

How did that happen?

Republicans signed orders that authorized the C.I.A. coup to overthrow the first democratically elected Iranian government in 1953.

This coup was done specifically so that British Petroleum could pay Iranians less than they paid Saudis for oil.

The C.I.A. has a pretty good explanation about why Iranians hate the U.S. and U.K.

Around 70 people were killed and 700 people from influential islamic families bribed and armed by the C.I.A.

Iran is in the process of digging up the uranium to produce electricity without refinement after we damaged their centrifuges.

Unenriched uranium produces plutonium during electricity production, which can be used to make weapons in an extremely dangerous but very simple process first used to attack Japan.

The UK and US need international nuclear monitors in Iran because of our unique history.

Iran won't even talk until we lift sanctions. Obama would be impeached if he lifts the sanctions.

The problem is that sanctions are putting Iran back into the stone age so Iran doesn't want to participate in nuclear talks any more.

Similar events have played out in other countries in the western hemisphere.

Over 40% of Guatemalan land was giftd to United Fruit Company from 1931 to 1944, impoverishing the native population.

Some of this land was nationalized by Jacobo Guzman. United Fruit Company responded by approaching the Eisenhower administration to request the C.I.A. coup that overthrew the democratically elected government.

Salvador Allende planned similar reforms in Chile after his election in 1970, and the Nixon administration backed a similar coup to overthrow the Allende government in 1973.

Eisenhower failed to intervene in the Cuban coup planned by Fidel Castro. Eisenhower snubbed Castro, so Cuba was forced to forge an alliance with the Soviet Union.

These are just four examples of G.O.P. foreign policy failures.
